Texas School Board Members have a radical agenda

The Texas school board has some radical members on it who are trying to rewrite textbooks to fit their religious and political agenda. This is key since Texas has major influence this year in setting nationwide textbook standards due to its size and Californias budget problems.

Such as this quote by one of the board members:
"America is a special place and we need to be sure we communicate that to our children," said Don McLeroy, a leading conservative on the board. "The foundational principles of our country are very biblical.... That needs to come out in the textbooks."
